The adidas 2024 collection was released on 4 December 2023. An extensive range featuring the Metalbone, Adipower, Drive, Match, Cross IT and RX Series lines. The Metalbone and Adipower ranges are back but improved. The new Cross IT line has been introduced to maximise performance. In this blog, several adidas padel rackets are scrutinised.
adidas Metalbone 3.3
The diamond-shaped Metalbone 3.3 designed for Alejandro Galán includes a sweetspot at the top, allowing you to add more power to your strokes. The padel racket is stiff because of its octagonal tube shape and includes Weight & Balance technology, allowing the weight to be adjusted to as much as 12 grams.
adidas Metalbone CTRL 3.3
The Metalbone 3.3 is a power racket and the Metalbone CTRL 3.3 a controlling racket. The racket contains a round shape with a sweetspot in the middle. The padel racket is stiff because of aluminised carbon fibres and the EVA Soft Performance rubber. This lightweight padel racket is 340 to 365 grams and can be adjusted by the six screws in the inner plate of the centre of the racket.
adidas Metalbone HRD+
Besides the Metalbone 3.3, Alejandro Galán also uses the Metalbone HRD+ with a diamond shape and high balance. This racket contains a higher density of EVA rubber, giving you more power and increasing your fast strokes. This racket is intended for advanced players with good technique.
adidas Adipower Multiweight 3.3
The Adipower Multiweight 3.3 offers consistency and versatility. A diamond-shaped racket with a high sweetspot. The padel racket contains rigidity due to its 18K carbon core. Moreover, the racket's Dual Exoskeleton structure provides resistance and is equipped with High Memory technology.
adidas Adipower Multiweight CTRL 3.3
Alex Ruiz uses the controlling padel racket from the Adipower line. The round-shaped racket with a sweetspot in the middle offers maximum control. The weight of this racket can be changed by nine grams through the Weight & Balance system in the edge of the racket. In addition, the racket is made of carbon and High Performance rubber to ensure resistance, rigidity and durability.
adidas Cross IT Light
Martita Ortega plays with the latest Cross IT Light from the new Cross IT collection. This racquet has a round shape with a wide sweetspot for top players with a lot of control. The DAF technology and light weight make it a very manageable racquet. The blade of the racket consists of 24K aluminized carbon and Medium EVA rubber.
adidas Cross IT CTRL
Another model from the Cross IT collection is the Cross IT CTRL. This racket is between 360 and 375 grams, contains a round shape and has a sweetspot in the middle. The blade of the racket consists of 12K aluminised carbon which ensures its manageability.
