Eleana Bakker, the Allesvoorpadel talent, is Dutch padel champion of the ladies under 14!
This 11-year-old from Waverveen has been prepared for the 2024 NK Padel with the help of her trainers. Eleana has been part of the KNLTB U12 team of the Dutch youth selection since October 2023. She trains hard to continuously improve her technical skills and stroke technique.
She also plays regularly with her brother and sister, who are also both also part of Team NL. ''Eleana has a lot of potential and is definitely going to reach the top of the Netherlands,'' says Floris Siderius, director of Allesvoorpadel.
National Padel DD U14 Championship
During the KNLTB's Dutch Padel Week at Peakz Padel in Eindhoven, the DD U14 National Championship was also played. Eleana and her partner Julie Luneman played together with the aim of becoming Dutch Champion. Within this section, there was one other duo who could compete for this title. On Monday afternoon, April 1, at noon, the ladies played against competitors Anshika Rajagopal and Rishita Rajagopal. It was a hard-fought match, but Eleana and Julie pulled off the win with a 6-3 6-4 victory. With this, the ladies have been crowned Dutch Champion of the ladies under 14. This title gives Eleana extra strength to continue playing padel and chase her dream of becoming a professional padeller.
