Impact on padel court construction
The building landscape in the Netherlands is undergoing a major change with the introduction of the new Building Works Environment Decree (Bbl) and the Building Quality Assurance Act (Wkb). These new legislations place greater emphasis on building safety and require an independent assessment of building safety and technical aspects for each project. As a result, the municipality is no longer responsible for checking whether the building or construction meets the requirements for the permit.
These changes also affect procedures around the construction of padel courts. It is now essential that the construction safety and construction process of padel courts be thoroughly assessed and documented by an independent party.
Collaboration
with PlanGarant
In response to these changes, Allesvoorpadel and PlanGarant entered into a strategic partnership. This partnership enables PlanGarant to accurately map and ensure the building safety and construction process of every Allesvoorpadel project. This means that Allesvoorpadel will register all its projects with this agency.
What will PlanGarant do?
PlanGarant will now monitor the entire construction process and check the structural calculations of each project. In this process, Allesvoorpadel handles communication and financial settlement with PlanGarant, while PlanGarant itself bears full responsibility for quality assurance. In this collaboration, PlanGarant takes the lead and investigates aspects in the structural calculation, then there will be checks on the actual construction of the padel court, such as frame thickness, strength class, correct preservation etc. In addition, PlanGarant also checks all electrical installations on the padel court according to the NEN 1010 standard.

- The inspection is now actually carried out.

Flexibility in construction planning
The planning of Allesvoorpadel is changing due to new regulations. Besides taking into account our own schedule and weather conditions, PlanGarant must now be taken into account. According to the new law, projects must now also be notified earlier, which means we are now less flexible on shifting projects. The biggest consequence is the flexibility in which Allesvoorpadel can operate.
