Masters of the Court was a great success

Masters of the Court was a great success

Friday 10 February 2023, Masters of the Court took place in Hall22. This was the very first customer day that Padelbouw organised for its customers and partners. It was a sporty, but above all enjoyable afternoon. The day started at 14:00 with a short speech by director Floris Siderius. He welcomed the customers to the padel hall after the guests were registered and received a goody bag. A total of 80 customers attended this spectacular afternoon of Padelbouw.

Presentations Padelbouw and KNLTB

The agenda was tight, so vendor Dennis Kloosterman of Padelbouw made a presentation immediately at 14:15. He presented a number of projects from the year 2022 and highlights for 2023. Among others, the Padmax VX2, canopies and the AFP Kiosk are products for the future.

Customers could ask information from the guys from Padelbouw about Beyuna, AFP Kiosk, AFP-Trade and maintenance. A roll-up banner had been created for many products and the products were on display.

After Padelbouw had presented, it was Diederik Meijntjes' turn on behalf of the KNLTB. Diederik presented on the growth of padel and, among other things, obstacles within the padel market. Noise pollution in particular is a big problem within this market. For more information watch here our blog on this.

Masters of the Court tournament

At 14:45 it was time to explain the tournament rules. Jakko Slot, owner FrontRow Sportmarketing & Events, organised the tournament for Padelbouw, so Padelbouw could take care of the relationship day. All sports clubs and partners competed in the tournament for fantastic prizes. The tournament started with qualifying pools at 3pm. Numbers 1 and 2 from each pool advanced to the Gold League and numbers 3 and 4 to the Silver League. Numbers 5 were unfortunately eliminated early. A qualifying pool was also played within the Gold and Silver League. From this pool came the quarter-finals, semi-finals and the eventual finals.

Award ceremony

In the end, two exciting finals were played. In the Silver League final, Thomas Brandsma and Wessel van Schaik of Colmschate were just too strong for team CSC Sport with our padel talent Thomas Bruggeman. The Colmschate men ran off with the silver adidas padel rackets.

The Gold League final was played by Sportvereniging Neckslag and KLTV Krommenie. It was a hard-fought match, but Joost Franke and Timo Riensema of Neckslag were just too strong. Under the watchful eye of Frank Neering of the KNLTB and board member of Neckslag, both men collected their gold adidas padel rackets.

Location Hall22

During the tournament, there was a dish from Hal22 every hour from 15:00. The menu consisted of: carpaccio, cone of chips, mini hamburger and appetisers. In addition, guests received consumption tokens upon arrival from Padelbouw to get drinks.

Hal22 is the largest indoor adidas padel hall in Benelux and also a customer of Padelbouw. From Hal22, Barry Atsma and Edwin Oostelaar participated in the padel tournament.

Photos and aftermovie

Patricia Pietersen took photos during the customer day. At the entrance there was a press cloth where all participants had their picture taken. Nice photos were taken here, which can be found on Padelbouw's Facebook account.

Wesley Klein made an aftermovie. Below is the video for a good picture of the day. Padelbouw is excited about Masters of the Court and can't wait to organise the next edition.
