Padelbouw is a member of the VPN

Padelbouw BV joined the Vereniging van Padelbouwbouwers Nederland during its establishment. Padelbouw was admitted to the committee by the VPN. From the advisory committee, all submitted information has been approved. This makes Padelbouw officially a VPN member. Floris Siderius, director of Padelbouw, says: "Now that Padelbouw is a VPN member, we can distinguish ourselves from competitors with an extra stamp indicating our service and guaranteeing quality."

Association of padel court builders Netherlands

The VPN was established on the advice of the national association, the KNLTB and some pioneering companies. With the huge growth of padel in the Netherlands, the quality standards of padel courts are of great importance. As a result, the association needed a discussion partner on behalf of padel court builders. The VPN ensures that member companies build courts that meet set standards and are accountable for the quality delivered.

Level playing field

The VPN has created a level playing field for contractors. This sets out the requirements a padel court must meet. There are also guidelines for officials, which can be used to assess applications for padel courts. This has been done in cooperation with the tennis association, Kiwa ISA Sport and the COBC. Based on the established standards and guidelines, padel courts are constructed and inspected. Through VPN, contractors contribute their knowledge and experience and work together to ensure construction quality. Padel construction stands for innovation and this cooperation takes the next step.

Padel and Sound

Padel is developing tremendously fast. Unfortunately, there is a downside to the development, namely noise pollution for local residents. The KNLTB has worked together with a taskforce of stakeholders on the manual 'padel and noise'. On behalf of padel court builders, the VPN is part of this task force. Padelbouw will make its contribution with the VPN to combat noise pollution. Read more about noise and acoustics at padel here.
