What is it

ASM Model: disk of 10!

Versatile exercise is important for fitness, vitality and health and is the basis for a lifetime of exercise enjoyment. To this end, the ASM introduces the Disc of 10!, which consists of ten basic forms of movement. Collectively, these basic forms are important for optimal motor development for everyone. The scientifically and practically based Disk of 10! provides insight into our exercise behaviour and offers a structure for exercise programmes. The Disk of 10! is universally applicable to all forms of exercise and can therefore be a common language for cooperation between all exercise professionals. In addition, the ASM uses the Disk of 10! as a basis for the design of sporting indoor and outdoor areas such as the Skills Garden and PLAYCE.

A nice feature that central in the Athletic Skills Model is that it is for all the movers of all levels is. After all, optimal talent development does not only apply to elite athletes, but to everyone. To become a specialist in a particular sport area, it is first of all very important to know various basic skills within sports. Here you can think of different game forms, exercises and activities. By developing yourself well in the basics first, you prevent possible injuries and increase your performance and enjoyment of exercise.
