The Lelystad Open 2023 tournament took place from 23 July to 30 July 2023. Allesvoorpadel joined the tournament as main sponsor with a P500 and an NRT. The tournament in home town Lelystad was a true success with delicious food, great matches and lots of fun. In this blog, we look back at the successful event.
P500
This event also hosted the P500 which included our Allesvoorpadel topper Menno Nolten played with his partner Bart van Opstal. Unfortunately, the men lost the finals in the P500 men to Rene Lindenbergh and Spain's Julio Pulido Alegre. In the P500 ladies, Steffie Weterings and Marcella Koek won from Liza Groenveld and Bo Luttikhuis.
Tennis and Padel
Besides the padel tournament, a tennis tournament was also held at the same time. The combination between the two sports creates a lot of crowds. At the Lelystad Open 2023 tournament, there were five hundred participants, most of them playing padel, but some tennis players were also present at this tournament.
Open tournament
Besides the NRT and the P500, an open tournament was also organised in different divisions. Our other Allesvoorpadel topper Thomas Bruggeman unfortunately did not get beyond the second round in the P500, but managed to win the open tournament in Lelystad.
Pop-up padel shop
For this tournament, Allesvoorpadel has a special version of the Combi kiosk unit made. This unit is 3.5 metres long, so on the left side of the container we created a pop-up shop with various rackets, balls and clothing from brands such as Wilson, Bullpadel and adidas, among others. The other side of the unit contains the Padeliosk and a drink and snack machine. This container will remain at LTVL allowing members and individuals to use the machines and buy rackets from the shop.
Main sponsor
Allesvoorpadel was a proud main sponsor in the year 2023 and this line will continue through 2025. For the next two years, Allesvoorpadel will remain main sponsor of the Lelystad Open 2023 tournament. Mainly, the year 2025 will be a special year for Allesvoorpadel. In that year, Allesvoorpadel (in the past Padelbouw) will exist for 10 years and should be celebrated extensively.
