Lighting
padel court
Which lighting is suitable for padel courts?
Padel courts require specific lighting to ensure good visibility and playing quality. Light must be distributed evenly across the court, without disturbing shadows or glare for players. This is why padel courts almost always use LED luminaires with high light output and energy efficiency.
For outdoor padel courts, lighting is usually chosen on the lighting columns of the padel court. Indoor padel courts can be equipped with either point lighting or line lighting. Allesvoorpadel works with specialised partners to design and install the right lighting solution.

STEP FOR STEP
This is how we realise padel court lighting.
We analyse the location and calculate the optimal light distribution, taking into account light intensity, sightlines and possible light nuisance.
The LED luminaires are placed on lighting poles or integrated into the construction of the padel court.
Lighting is connected to the electrical grid and can be linked to smart control systems
Indus Series
Specially developed for padel courts, the sports lighting from the Indus series ensures optimum visibility and playing comfort. Thanks to the high light output and efficient LED technology, the playing field is evenly lit, without annoying shadows.
The lighting plan is tailored to current sports standards, making the court suitable for both recreational and competitive use.
In addition, the lighting is durable, weatherproof and flexibly adjustable, ensuring a reliable solution with a long lifespan and low maintenance costs.
Linea series
Line lighting is often chosen for indoor padel courts. This lighting runs along the length of the court and provides a very even light distribution.
The Linea Series has been specially developed for indoor sports lighting. With an output of 75 watts and a light output of around 11,250 lumens, this lighting offers an efficient and sustainable solution.
Thanks to high-quality Samsung LED technology and different beam angles, the lighting can be perfectly tailored to the specific location of the job.

Smart lighting and access with Reset / Eventlogic
Modern padel facilities are increasingly using smart automation for lighting and access. With solutions from Reset and the Eventlogic platform, lighting of padel courts can be automatically controlled based on reservations. This reduces energy consumption and significantly simplifies sports facility management.
The system links reservation software such as Meet & Play or Playtomic to the venue's technical installations. When a court is reserved, the lighting automatically switches on just before playing time and off again when the reservation ends. As a result, lighting only comes on when the court is actually being used.
In addition, the system can also control smart access. For example, players can access the padel court via an app, PIN or card during their reservation. This creates a fully automated sports venue where lighting, access and reservations work together seamlessly.
This smart automation makes padel venues more efficient, reduces energy costs and gives clubs and operators greater insight into the use of their sports facilities.

Challenges in padel court lighting
Designing lighting for padel courts requires precise lighting calculations and technical expertise. The light must be evenly distributed over the entire playing field without disturbing shadows or glare. At the same time, energy consumption and possible light nuisance for the surrounding area must be taken into account. By using modern LED technology and smart control systems, padel courts can be efficiently lit and playing quality remains optimal.
