Construction of padel courts
Allesvoorpadel has been building padel courts in the Netherlands since 2015. The construction of padel courts starts outdoors with the groundwork, drainage, foundation and sports floor. Then the steps for indoor and outdoor padel courts go as follows. The padel court is assembled and then the artificial grass is laid in the cage. Lighting will also be fixed on or above the padel court. In addition, the padel court can be fully customised with different types of finishing options, such as disabled doors, net ties, scoreboards and much more!
Groundwork
The first step of building padel courts starts with groundwork. Allesvoorpadel specialises in groundwork because of our extensive experience in infrastructure. To build a foundation and sports floor to place, the substrate has to be converted. Each site has a different subsoil where different operations have to be carried out. When water permeability needs to be improved, the choice can be made to apply drainage. For the need of drainage, an end pipe and a collection pit are installed.
Foundation
An important choice for making padel courts is the foundation. It is imperative that the padel court cannot subside. Allesvoorpadel works with two types foundations, namely the ring foundation and a concrete slab foundation. The ring foundation is perfect for sites with less space, while concrete slabs are advantageous for temporary sites.
Sports floor
For the official sports floor Allesvoorpadel makes use of two sports floors. The first variant is a concrete sports floor made of Supersub, which is often used for Allesvoorpadel's padel courts. Nowadays, we also use Very Open Asphalt Concrete (ZOAB), which allows immediate construction the next day.
Construction of padel courts
Once the sports floor is poured, it is time to assemble the padel courts. For indoor projects, the construction phase only starts now, as the floors are already good for construction. We may only need to level the floor indoors first. Our fitters are ready to assemble padel courts and install the glass. At Allesvoorpadel, there are several types of padel courts to choose from, including pillar cages, panorama padel courts and aluminium padel courts.
Artificial grass
When the steel structure and fencing of the padel court are in place, the official top layer is placed in the padel court. In the Netherlands, the official top layer of a padel court is always artificial grass. Allesvoorpadel has different kinds, types and colours artificial grass from suppliers such as Mondo and Grass Partners. In addition, we can make it possible to incorporate your own logo into the artificial grass in the run-off areas or in the finishing grass.
Lighting
In addition to artificial grass, you can also opt for lighting. At Allesvoorpadel, you can choose point lighting or line lighting from different suppliers such as Oostendorp and Sportverlichting.com. For indoor padel courts, it is also common to use hall lighting.
Finish
The padel court is now complete, but can still be finished. Thus, Allesvoorpadel has standard padel court finishing, such as scoreboards, net tapes, court protection and ball catchers. In addition, it is also possible to take different door items, such as doors with code locks or disabled doors. At Allesvoorpadel, nothing is too crazy!
