The artificial grass of the padel court has maintenance needed to stay in top condition. Besides weekly sweeping (by the sports club itself), we recommend having the artificial grass maintained twice a year by specialists. This is very beneficial for the lifespan of the artificial turf but also for its playing characteristics and water permeability. Over the years, we have established a specialist team to maintain the artificial grass of padel courts. In addition to keeping the top layer open, artificial grass maintenance is also important to remove dust and organic contamination from the artificial grass mat. We perform deep cleaning in several steps.
Weed and moss control
Before we can properly tackle artificial grass, it is very important to first combat weeds, algae and moss. This is the first step of the roadmap artificial grass.

Surface dirt

Brushing the artificial grass
The fibres of artificial grass are flattened by playing. Allesvoorpadel uses the triangular broom to brush the mat's fibres back upright, instantly redistributing the sand as well. This prevents unnecessary wear of the artificial grass pitch.
Infill purification
Padel releases a lot of ball lint and ball dust. Because you play in a padel court, this cannot escape and ends up between your fibre and infill.
Because we can extract the sand down to the backing, we filter the entire infill package of lint, dust and organic materials with the SMG.
If necessary, we will again spread additional infill sand on the padel court.
Brushing the artificial grass
For a nice finish, you want the clean sand to be distributed evenly again and neatly between your fibre.
A rubber drag-in mat can be used for this or the Padmax VX2. After all these steps of the roadmap artificial grass, the mat is clean again and in optimal playing condition.
