Acoustics

Acoustics are significantly reduced with Caldifoam.

Caldifoam

Caldifoam is a sound-absorbing foam based on closed-cell polyethylene, developed for applications where acoustic insulation is essential. Allesvoorpadel recently started using Caldifoam as a remedy for acoustic problems on and around padel courts. The material is available in white or black with a thickness of 40mm with a weight of 1kg per square metre.

Caldifoam in the track

Padel courts produce a lot of noise, especially when balls hit the fencing and by players on the court. This can cause annoying acoustics or complaints in densely built-up environments. Caldifoam is an acoustic dampening material that has excellent sound-absorbing properties. Covering parts of the track with caldifoam significantly reduces impact noise. Caldifoam is also easy to process and looks good too.

Acoustic comfort

Noise reduction plays a major role in padel courts. Caldifoam has been specially developed to effectively dampen disturbing sounds. The material offers excellent sound absorption at low and medium frequencies, significantly reducing the sound of padel balls hitting glass and fencing. This not only reduces nuisance for nearby residents or adjacent sports fields, but also makes for a more pleasant playing experience within the court itself.

Safe and durable

Caldifoam is lightweight, making it easy to incorporate into fencing or walls around padel cages. It meets strict fire safety standards (such as DIN 4102 B1 and EN 45545-2 HL3), making it safe to use in high-traffic locations. In addition, the material offers thermal insulation, promoting a stable indoor climate. Caldifoam is dirt-repellent, chemical-resistant, corrosion-free and easy to clean, without mould or bacteria adhering to it. With a temperature resistance of -50°C to +100°C, it can be used in virtually all conditions.
