Indoor maintenance
Indoor courts have different artificial turf from outdoor courts and therefore have different maintenance needed. Instead of organic material, an indoor court mainly has to deal with ball lint and dust. We treat the indoor artificial grass mats with a brushing machine and the SMG Turfsoft to clean and brush up the infill sand and artificial grass fibre. Where necessary, the sand is replenished. In addition to weekly sweeps (by the association), it is recommended that specialised artificial turf maintenance for indoor padel courts. This is beneficial for the life of your artificial grass mat, moreover, it also improves the playing characteristics. The step-by-step maintenance plan is as follows:
- Brushing along the edges of the playing field
- Infill purification/filtering with the SMG Turfsoft
- Brushing up the artificial grass fibre If necessary, replenish the infill; Dragging in the padel court with a drag net or the Padmax VX2; Checking and repairing seams and lines.

As the padel court is played a lot and hit and run against the glass walls and fencing during play, settling of the cage occurs, especially in the beginning. It is therefore important to check the cage construction within two months of installation and to check whether all fixing points are still secure through padel court maintenance. After the initial inspection, we recommend checking the cage construction to be checked by the experienced staff at Allesvoorpadel. The roadmap is as follows:
- Check/replace fasteners
- Repair loose bolts, crooked parts
- Check/replace covers
- Checking and tensioning the play net
