Padel cover in The Stentor
Following the success of the Flevopost article Allesvoorpadel conducted an interview with De Stentor at LTVL in Lelystad on Monday 1 July. The interview was about the first soundproof padel canopy from Allesvoorpadel. This canopy reduces as much as 8 dB, allowing a canopy with four padel courts to be placed 2.5 times closer to a residential area than four outdoor padel courts.
Some local residents are getting horny from the sound of padel. In several places, clubs with padel plans and local residents are diametrically opposed. At LTVL, padel is a permanent fixture. Since May, there are four new padel courts with a noise-reducing padel roof. Allesvoorpadel installed a roof here, not because of the noise, but mainly for the weather. This was the right place for Allesvoorpadel to take noise measurements.
The canopy contains sheets of perforated panels in which acoustic insulation. These panels reduce noise by up to 8 dB, allowing many clubs to continue their padel plans.
