The pink padel courts are officially open at HAL 0172!

On Saturday 3 May, HAL 0172 in Nieuwkoop coloured completely pink. Not because of a temporary decoration, but because of the official opening of two unique padel courts: a full pink and a medium pink padel court. These special pink padel courts are part of the international campaign #pinkmovement by adidas, a powerful initiative that uses sport to raise awareness about breast cancer and give women a stronger place within padel sports.
An initiative with impact
As the initiator of this campaign in the Netherlands, Allesvoorpadel has joined forces with venue partner HAL 0172 and breast cancer organisation Pink Ribbon to spread this message in a visible and sporting way. Allesvoorpadel strongly believes in the connecting power of sport and uses padel as a tool to make social issues negotiable.
The day began with three inspiring speeches from the parties involved. From Allesvoorpadel, they explained how this project came about, and how the collaboration with adidas and AFP Courts led to the realisation of these pink padel courts. Pink Ribbon then gave a personal insight into the impact of breast cancer on the lives of thousands of women as well as their loved ones. In turn, the HAL 0172 venue emphasised how proud it is to be part of this campaign. This was followed by the official opening moment: cutting the pink ribbon in the full pink paddle court - a powerful symbolic gesture of cooperation, solidarity and hope.
Top sport and challenge for charity
The sporting side of the day took shape in the form of a demonstration match on the medium pink panorama court. None other than Puck Bernard (No. 8 of the Netherlands), Tess de Vocht (No. 7), Kiki Zoet and Joyce Nouws entered the court for a spectacular game of top-level padel. For many attendees, it was a unique opportunity to see the speed, precision and cooperation of these top players up close.
But the audience was also given a role to play. After the demonstration, visitors were allowed to compete against Puck and Tess in a sports challenge. Whoever managed to win a game received a playing voucher for an hour of free padel on the pink courts. This not only made the connection between top sport and recreation, but also highlighted the importance of accessible participation in social actions.

Padel with a mission
The pink padel courts at HAL 0172 represent more than just sport. They are a powerful visual statement and a lasting part of the #pinkmovement by adidas. Together with adidas and AFP Courts, Allesvoorpadel will organise various events, clinics and tournaments over the coming months to get as many people as possible moving - literally and figuratively. In doing so, each activity will be used to raise money for Pink Ribbon, which supports breast cancer research. "We believe that sport is a powerful tool to create awareness" says Jorden Kallenbach, marketing manager of Allesvoorpadel. "These pink padel courts symbolise strength, hope and connection. We hope players will feel empowered here not only physically, but also mentally."
Take action too!
From now on, the pink padel courts can be booked through HAL 0172 in Nieuwkoop. Whether you come for a serious workout, a fun game with friends or to take part in one of the actions for charity - everyone is welcome at this special sports venue. In addition, you can donate via our action platform on the website of Pink Ribbon.
Do you want to contribute to this movement? Then keep a close eye on the social media channels of Allesvoorpadel. Various activities will be organised in the coming period to involve as many people as possible in the mission of the #pinkmovement.
Together, we are playing for something bigger than the scoreboard. Play on pink, play for change!
