#pinkmovement by adidas
Allesvoorpadel and AFP Courts are introducing the #pinkmovement by adidas in the Netherlands. With this campaign, we are building all-pink padel courts to raise awareness for cancer prevention and early detection, promote gender equality in sport and raise money for Pink Ribbon. Part of the proceeds from the pink courts will be donated to breast cancer research, and the member padel club will be actively involved in social initiatives.
Full Pink padel court
Our Full Pink padel court is a padel court fully coated in our pink RAL colour, includes pink artificial grass and stickers and certificates from adidas. All our adidas padel court models can be transformed into a Full Pink court, so both pillar cages and panorama courts.
The #pinkmovement by adidas stands for the following:
- Awareness: The importance of cancer prevention and detection;
- Promoting inclusiveness: Getting women on the padel court more;
- Financial support: 5% of the price of the pink padel court will be donated;
- Social engagement: Activate padel clubs to support gender equality and preventive health activities.
How it began
In April 2024, the first full-pink padel court was installed in Tijuana, Mexico. The iniative came from our supplier and colleagues AFP Courts and AFP Courts Mexico in collaboration with club owner Christina Romero, who herself has survived leukaemia. The pink court symbolises strength for women, gender equality and awareness of the terrible disease cancer. In collaboration with AFP Courts, Allesvoorpadel decided to place these courts in the Netherlands as well.
Activities and workshops
Together with HAL 0172, we will organise activities, events and workshops to clearly communicate the campaign's goal "Play on pink, play for change". Think charity tournaments to raise money, Ladies nights, health checks and Woman's Power Clinics.
The #pinkmovement by adidas is a unique opportunity to make a social impact in the padel world. Allesvoorpadel is taking the lead in this by building pink padel courts, activating clubs and raising funds for breast cancer research. By combining sport and charity, we create a movement that not only makes the Netherlands play more padel, but also inspires and helps.
Allesvoorpadel has created a unique campaign page on the Pink Ribbon website where we aim to raise €50,000 for Pink Ribbon.
